 | The Boat : S/V Spindrift |
Our Sailing Vessel "Spindrift" is an Irwin 28 MK II, a 28' cruiser-racer designed and built by Irwin Yachts. Spindrift is a well built, safe, extremely clean, sturdy yet quick and responsive sailboat. She takes the waves and weather very well, and is a very easily sailed vessel, and a great sailboat to learn to sail on. S/V Spindrift is very well equipped with many updated safety features, new navigation and marine communications electronics, new stereo system; new sailing rigging, and brand new Doyle Sails. She has a head (bathroom for the landlubbers), small galley, ice box, running water, and has a reliable inboard Volvo engine. S/V Spindrift meets or exceeds all U.S. Coast Guard standards, regulations, and guidelines to be a charter sailing vessel. She is inspected annually and certified to meet stringent standards for sailing charter vessels by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. *** What To Bring For Your Voyage ***
